 Mugi Dance is a performing arts community initiated by Mugiyono Kasido. Consisting of people with various back ground and diciplines, such as choreographers, dancers, actors, musician, puppet shadow master, visual artist and designers, Mugi Dance aim to improve the javanese performing arts tradition and the Indonesian contemporary arts by creating contemporary dances based on the Javanese traditional arts developed into personal expressions. Mugi Dance works have been performed by extensively through out Indonesia ( Yogyakarta, Bandung, Surakarta/Solo, Jakarta, Surabaya,Makasar) and abroad (USA,The Netherland, Belgium, Germany, England, Portugal, Denmark, French, Sweden, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, South Africa and Greece) |
